Bio:

I am a rising sophomore from Brooklyn, NY, studying Mechanical Engineering. Throughout the school year, I am a TA at the NYU MakerSpace where I train students for machinery. My interest in engineering started in the summer of 2017 when I participated in a summer research program, ARISE. That summer, I spent seven weeks at NYU Tandon in the Applied Dynamics and Optimization Lab (ADOL) conducting energy expenditure experiments on a 2-DOF robotic arm and building a prototype for an actuated passive walker. Since then, I have expanded on my research, continuing construction of the actuated passive walker and even competed in national research competitions. This summer, I was selected as a Thompson-Bartlett Summer Research Fellow in the Undergraduate Summer Research Program where I again worked in the ADOL researching standing push recovery for DARwIn-OP humanoid in simulations.
