You’ll get to a point in your skating journey when you start thinking, “What if this deck was bigger/smaller/curved differently?” Join Isay Acenas, amateur skater and Tandon undergraduate student, from her wood shop in San Francisco as she walks us through her process of making a longboard deck out of wood sourced from a fallen tree from the Bay Area. She will make recommendations about getting started in woodworking, and at the end of the class, one participant will be randomly selected to receive their very own deck made in her wood shop!
